Good insights! Thanks!
I’m glad you’re giving us some real information. It seems to me, speaking very generally, that Al Qaeda from Iraq was helping the rebels and made inroads into Assad’s territory, in spite of Assad’s using chemical weapons on the rebels; so much so that Russia sent in those S-300 missiles and took back the territory from the rebels for Assad. Assad is now back in control. I will be very interested to hear what insights you have into what is going on now. It seems we, the U.S., will not directly attack Syria, which is probably a good thing. We are giving troop support via training… a very interesting game of chess.
Melange – I would wait and see if the U.S. conducts an attack on Syria as nothing is off the table. There is certainly a build up of U.S. troops in Jordan. Russia President has already stated that he is going to leash weapons that the middle east has never seen before. I am sure the U.S. would gladly like to see those type of weapons on display and perform on the battlefield. In any case they would be no match for U.S. technology and weapons systems.
AC, thanks for the heads up…looks like Obozo is going to get us involved in another war in the Middle East
I hope not but it is a start of something building up in the region. Thanks for watching.
