The pictures were taken from an unreleased video shows a militant with an FN-6 and what appears to be a Mi-17 Iraqi helicopter. The Iraqi Ministry of Defense has confirmed that an Mi-35m was shot down near Bayji in Salah-al-Din province on October 3. The New York Times wrote an article in June 2013 stating that the Qatar government had ignored the warning by the U.S. government to keep the Man Portable Shoulder Fired Weapons out of the rebels hands. The Qatar government supplied two shipments of Chinese made FN-6 to Syrian rebels.
I would expect to see more Iraq military helicopters shot down as long as the Islamic state has these type of weapons. Air strikes do not appear to stop the Islamic State from attacking the Iraqi military.
