The top U.S. Army general is giving everyone in the world a clue that it will be necessary for the future to deploy ground troops in Iraq. Army Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, arrived in Baghdad on Saturday to meet with Iraqi government officials. The meeting was to gather what is happening on the ground in Iraq and assess the situation.
Gen. Dempsey met the Iraqi Prime Minister Abadi to discuss what to do about the Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL). The door is open for U.S. military ground troops in Iraq in early 2015. The Pentagon has sent 3,100 troops in an advisory role to Iraq and work with the Iraqi military. An offensive could be in the works to retake the second largest city in Iraq in the spring of 2015. It is not clear if this means U.S. troops will be involved in taking back Mosul from the Islamic State. What remains clear is that more U.S. troops in the future will be headed to Iraq to be used as ground forces to fight against the Islamic State. Recently it was stated by the media that 80,000 good troops are needed to fight the Islamic State in Iraq. It would take years to organize 80,000 Iraqi troops to fight the Islamic State and be successful on their own without the help from the west.
I would be prepared and expect more U.S. troops to be deployed to Iraq as this is the only way to defeat the Islamic State. You need the experience and the military capability of the U.S. in order for the Iraqi government to defeat the Islamic State.Watch Full Movie Online Streaming Online and Download
